Does a notarised power of attorney need to be translated?

Answer:

We draw up power of attorney documents in Belgium in both Spanish and Dutch. We work together with notaries in Belgium who are fluent in Spanish and can therefore verify whether the Spanish text corresponds to the Dutch text.

Powers of attorney at a notary in the Netherlands are exclusively in Dutch. These powers of attorney therefore still need to be sworn translated.
